Jake Kleinbaum,

Founder of Premier LSAT Prep

After graduating from the University of Chicago Jake decided to start Premier LSAT Prep because his road to a 174 was not an easy one. His initial diagnostic was in the low 140s and was devastated because the big test prep companies could only promise a 10 point increase from diagnostic. However, through many months of hard work while simultaneously working at Sidley Austin LLP he was able to raise his score by 30 points. Throughout that process he developed many unique study strategies that are now shared with Premier students.

He started Premier because he saw two problems with LSAT prep. First, personalized tutoring is by far the best way to study, but it’s also by far the most expensive option and out of reach for most students. Premier’s affordable rates aim to make the option of tutoring realistic for as many students as possible. The other problem is that the big test prep companies don’t let their students be ambitious. However, Premier doesn’t put that kind of limitation on their students. Premier LSAT Prep has helped countless students make 20-30 point score increases just like he was able to.

Emily

LSAT Tutor

Emily considers herself a LSAT veteran. She was a low scorer in the 130s, took two courses, and ended up with a 171. She struggles with test taking anxiety and knows how hard this journey can be. She likes to employ her knowledge of mental health from her social work job to come alongside her students and encourage them in this process. When she is not teaching or working, Emily likes trying new recipes and going on walks with her husband and dog.

Naz

LSAT Tutor

Naz scored a 176 on his LSAT and is based in Texas. Although Nazim has tutored a number of examinations, including the MCAT and the DAT, he most enjoys tutoring the LSAT. In his spare time, he enjoys running, live music and fantasy football. One of Naz's students said: "Naz really teaches in a way that exercises your brain. He really encourages learning and recognizing techniques in a way where you rely less on memorization and more on naturally thinking in a pattern that is rewarded on the test. He will also stay on a question or concept until you are comfortable with moving on. Very patient, great explanations and shows examples of explanations and great following up. Assigns homework and follows up. Also brings actual problems to the session. Very timely and prompt and flexible with my busy schedule"
